Here at Interop in New York, it's clear that classic mobile device management (MDM) tools are on their way out. Not only has MDM become commoditized, it is probably counter-productive: It's all about constraining users, when mobility strategies should enable users. There are better approaches to protecting your company and they fall under the umbrella term of enterprise mobility management (EMM).
